Who we serve
Logistics for galleries
Artwork handled, transported and installed for exhibitions, fairs and private sales, by the same people who move the furniture.

Carried by the frame, never the face.
Gloves are not a courtesy, they are the baseline. Every piece travels upright, unstacked, and fully protected, handled with the precision the object itself demands.
The problem
Art is not simply furniture of greater value. A damaged sofa results in a delay; a damaged work results in an irreversible loss, one no sum of money can undo. This distinction governs every decision that follows: how a piece is packed, how it travels, who is entrusted to handle it, and how time pressure is managed, which is to say, it is not. Urgency never dictates pace.
Handling is dictated by this principle throughout. No piece travels stacked, and none is ever laid face-down. Works are transported upright, separated and restrained, carried by the frame and never touched at the surface. Crated pieces remain sealed until they reach the room in which they will finally be unveiled. Here, gloves are not a courtesy, they are an absolute minimum.
Exhibitions impose their own discipline. Install and de-install windows are narrow, fixed, and typically shared with other lenders and other trades, demanding precision measured in hours, not days. Installation itself is part of the offering: each work positioned, levelled and lit with intent, never left leaning against a wall for someone else to resolve.
What we solve
Irreplaceable, not merely expensive
Insurance does not restore a work. Everything about the handling assumes there is no second copy: travel upright and separated, frames carried rather than faces touched, crates opened in the room and not in the truck.
Fixed install and de-install windows
Fair and exhibition windows do not move for a late run. Jobs are planned to the hour, and the team is briefed on the sequence before the vehicle is loaded.
Hanging is part of the delivery
Works are hung, levelled and positioned, not delivered to a wall for somebody else. Anything requiring structural fixing is coordinated with your installers.
Between shows
Storage is housed within the same facility as our warehousing, so a de-install transitions directly onto a rack, never passed through a second operator's hands.

Common questions
- Do you transport artwork?
- Yes. Ateam Logistics transports framed works, mirrors, sculpture and crated art with at least two-person handling, and works carried by the frame rather than touched on the face. Pieces travel upright, separated and restrained rather than stacked, and crated work stays crated until it is in the room where it will be opened.
- Can you install an exhibition to a fixed window?
- Yes. Ateam Logistics plans exhibition installs and de-installs to the hour rather than the day, because fair and gallery windows are short and shared with other trades. Works are hung, levelled and positioned as part of the job, with any structural fixing coordinated with your installers.
- Do you offer climate-controlled fine art storage?
- No, and it is worth being straight about it. The Ateam Logistics warehouse is a secure, monitored facility built for furniture, art and decorative inventory, not a conservation-grade climate-controlled art store. Work with a conservation climate specification should go to a specialist art storage facility. Everything else we can hold, and we will tell you honestly which yours is.
- Can you move work interstate?
- Yes. Ateam Logistics runs a consolidated leg from Sydney to Melbourne, handled to the same standard at both ends. Stock is not broken down and passed between depots partway, which is where most interstate art damage is introduced.
